About the show
The idea for What Makes Us Human came to me as a whisper before bed. A question I knew had to be handled with care.
This show doesn't chase one answer to it. Every episode, someone different sits with the question and answers from exactly where they are and what they've experienced. Woven together, those answers don't make a single thread; they make a tapestry, contradictory and unfinished, and somehow truer for it. We're not trying to define the answer. And we're not trying to judge a person's perspective either. We're trying to touch the question, and listen to the truth humming beneath.
